Crop Royal Mail Click & Drop Labels to 4×6
Buying postage in Click & Drop gives you a label PDF — but not always a 4×6 page. Crop it below to an exact 4×6 in (100×150 mm) PDF that your thermal printer will print perfectly first time.

Why Click & Drop PDFs don't always fit your label printer
4×6 in (100×150 mm) thermal labels are the standard format for UK e-commerce, and they are the right size for Royal Mail Click & Drop labels. But the PDF you download from Click & Drop can arrive as an A4 page, with the label in one area of the sheet and the rest of the page blank or filled with other content.
Print that A4 page on 4×6 label stock and the printer shrinks everything to fit — addresses come out tiny, edges can clip, and barcodes may stop scanning at the Post Office counter. Cropping the PDF so the page matches the label stock is the simple fix, and it is what this tool does, entirely in your browser.
How to crop a Click & Drop label to 4×6
- Download your label PDF from Click & Drop after buying postage. If you are printing several orders, keep the PDF exactly as downloaded — multi-page files are fine.
- Drop the PDF into the cropper above. Everything runs in your browser; the label — and the addresses on it — never leave your device.
- Check the blue crop box. Auto-detect finds the label on the page. Confirm the barcode and both addresses are fully inside the box, and drag a corner dot to adjust it if needed.
- Pick your output size: 4×6 in, or 100×150 mm if that is what your printer driver lists for your labels. Then download the cropped PDF.
- Print at 100% scale with the paper size matching your labels, and avoid "fit to page" — the cropped PDF is already exactly the right size.
Click & Drop label questions
What size labels do I need for Click & Drop?
4×6 in (100×150 mm) thermal labels are the UK e-commerce standard format and are suitable for Click & Drop labels. This tool exports exactly that size — in either the inch or the metric version.
4×6 in or 100×150 mm — which output should I choose?
They are nearly identical: 4×6 in is 101.6×152.4 mm, while 100×150 mm is a fraction smaller. Choose whichever your printer driver names for your label stock, so the PDF page and the physical label match exactly.
My Click & Drop PDF has a label plus other content on the page. Can the tool separate them?
Yes. Auto-detect looks for the label area on the page rather than the whole sheet, and if it includes too much or too little, you can drag the crop box to cover exactly the label before downloading. The general FAQ explains how detection works.
Is my customers' address data uploaded anywhere?
No. The tool runs entirely in your browser — no upload, no account, no watermark, and nothing is stored. Your label PDFs stay on your own computer from start to finish.
