Why Vinted label PDFs don't fit a 4×6 thermal printer
When a buyer purchases your item on Vinted in the US, you receive a prepaid shipping label as a PDF — typically a USPS or UPS label. The label itself is the standard 4×6 inch size, but the PDF page it arrives on usually isn't: it's often a full Letter page, with the label sitting in one part of the page and blank space (sometimes extra text) around it.
That mismatch is what causes the classic problems. Print the full page straight onto 4×6 label stock and the label comes out tiny in a corner, gets cut off at the edges, or shrinks so far that the barcode won't scan at drop-off. A 4×6 thermal printer — a Rollo, Dymo, Munbyn or similar — expects a 4×6 page. Cropping the PDF so the page is the label fixes all three problems at once.
How to crop a Vinted label to 4×6
- Download the label PDF from Vinted. Open your sale, view the shipping label, and save the PDF to your computer or phone — don't print it yet.
- Drop the PDF into the cropper above. The tool runs entirely in your browser, so the name and address on your label are never uploaded anywhere.
- Check the blue crop box. The tool auto-detects the label area on the page. Make sure the whole label — addresses, postage marks and the full barcode — sits inside the box, and drag a corner dot if it needs adjusting.
- Keep the output size at 4×6 in and download. If your label PDF has several pages, each page gets its own crop box, and blank pages can be skipped automatically.
- Print at 100% scale with the paper size set to 4×6 in. No shrinking, no "fit to page" — the PDF is already the exact size of your label stock.
Vinted label questions
Which labels does Vinted give US sellers?
In the US, Vinted prepaid labels are typically USPS or UPS labels delivered as PDFs. Both use the standard 4×6 inch label size, and this tool works with either — it finds the label area visually instead of relying on one carrier's layout.
My Vinted label PDF is a whole Letter page. Is that normal?
Yes. The PDF page is often Letter size even though the label on it is 4×6. That's exactly what this tool fixes: it crops the page down to the label and exports a true 4×6 inch PDF.
Is it safe? The label has my home address on it.
Nothing is uploaded. The cropping happens locally in your browser with JavaScript — the file never leaves your device, and there's no account, no watermark and nothing stored on a server.
The barcode looks small after printing. What went wrong?
Almost always scaling. Print the cropped PDF at exactly 100% with paper size 4×6, and turn off any "Fit to page" option. Our thermal printing guide covers the other common causes.
